In 1984 when his family packed up and moved from Siena, Italy, to Brooklyn, New York, 13-year-old Alberto Forté couldn’t wait to pursue his dreams in America. Propelled by a passion for innovation, he started his first job at a local electronics store while still in high school, learning everything he could about computers.

This early love of technology, combined with a childhood aspiration to creatively improve people’s daily lives, led him to the appliance industry, both for its stability – people would always need affordable, dependable, well-designed products for their homes – and its growth potential as technology accelerated.

After nearly two decades of success in the appliance industry, Alberto decided to take the bold step of creating his own brand of appliances to fill a gap he saw in the marketplace.
